The
Northwest Association ranges
from La Crosse in the south to Madeline Island in the north, from the
Mississippi and St. Croix Rivers in the west to Land o' Lakes and
Phelps in the east. Majestic bluffs, rolling farmland, deep
woods, lakes and rivers, farms and cities define the landscape of this
beautiful part of "God's Country." We are 63 churches with roots reaching deep into the history of the Christian church and our communities, seeking a vision that makes the historic faith our own in this time and place. Our distances may seem vast, but the ties of collegiality and support are strong as our churches and clergy share a commitment to strengthen the covenants that hold us together. For clergy collegiality and support, we are separated into four districts, which meet about 8 times a year. For information and relationship building among congregations, we are divided into seven clusters, which meet periodically for fellowship and program. |
